INDIA: INDIA FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS
India Foundation for the Arts is an independent philanthropic organisation established in 1993. IFA makes grants, administers projects and creates public platforms to strengthen research, practice and education in the arts and the preservation and transmission of valuable cultural knowledge.
IFA recognizes the very real potential of the arts to enrich individual and community life and so aims to ensure that the arts, in all their diversity, are nurtured and valued. IFA believes that creativity is critical to envisioning the future of its society and that support for the arts should be widely accessible without prejudice to class, language, religion or gender.
