Liberia: LIBERIA VISUAL ARTS ACADEMY- LIVARTS - ARTERIAL MEMBER
The LA-A mission is to train young Liberians in the visual arts as a means to empower themselves, contribute to the creative vision of their communities and promote an understanding of cultures.
The Liberian Visual Arts Academy is registered as a non-profit organisation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education int he Republic of Liberia.
The LA-A is an Arterial member. The Arterial Network's vision is of a vibrant, dynamic and sustainable African creative civil society sector engaged in qualitative practice in the arts in their own right, as well as in a manner that contributes to development, to human rights and democracy, and to the eradication of poverty on the African continent.
