NAMIBIA: VISUAL ARTS - NAMIBIA
Visual Artists – Namibia was launched in April 2006, and has since acquired the membership of a large number of visual artists in Namibia. The objective of VA-N is to have every visual artist in the country - student, amateur, professional - on its membership database.
Visual Artists - Namibia is a member-driven, non-profit, inclusive organisation, working on local, regional, national and international levels for the self-empowerment and self-sustainability of visual artists. VA-N aims to raise awareness of and promote visual artists in Namibia. They aim to make connections, liaise and co-operate with other Namibian and international individuals and organisations, and to safeguard the rights of visual artists in Namibia.
