SOUTH KOREA: DAEGU PHOTO BIENNALE
The Daegu Photo Biennale is a large photography event that takes place every other year. The event showcased some 1,500 photographs by 245 artists from 22 countries and included an international photography symposium and a variety of events.
With the works of not only photos but also media art, paintings and sculptures on display, the Daegu Photo Biennale expands the horizon of the photography genre and offers a glimpse of contemporary photography trends. For Korean visitors, the event is a great opportunity to see the works of European artists.
