Emily Moya Addis
Emily is a Photographer based in the Midlands. Her photographs ask us to cross the bridge of surreality and enter the realm of the imagination. Inspired by dreams, childhood, literature and the extra-ordinary, Emily began constructing highly narrative photographs, involving herself and others in whimsical scenarios.
Using predominantly digital means, Emily creates fictional worlds to be experienced and explored. Her photographs act as a window into these fantasies and invite the viewer to share, if just for a moment, a belief in the impossible. The two images involved in WEYA challenge social groups and inclusion within the most intensely hierarchical of environments; high school.
