Haoruo Wu (China) - Ming Dynasty Charm

Chinese visual artist Haoruo Wu will be presenting a sculptural installation at the Park Plaza. The work was inspired by Ming Dynasty furniture and is composed of lines with two armchairs and a 'jian' sword. The two armchairs on each side of this work represent the male and female.

In 2008, Haoruo Wu went to Nanjing Normal University. In 2010 his design work was selected for the Joint Exhibition of Young Art Students. His work was also shown at Nanjing Normal exhibition 'Early Sound'. In 2011 some of his design works were selected for the Academy of Excellence at the 7th National Snow Sculpture competition.
