Disorder Event

Saturday 8th September 2012 - 12:00 - 18:00
BJCEM will showcase an afternoon of music, literature and visual art in response to the theme of ‘Disorder’ in the unique setting of Primary, an artist-led space . This event offers WEYA artists an opportunity to present site-specific interpretations of their work for one day only during the festival.

The artists who will be on site throughout the day include French writer and actress Leila Anis, artist Mahmoud Mansi who writes in English, but is inspired by his Egyptian culture and from Spain Antonio Santo Orcero whose poetry explores clashes between conflicting worlds. There will be performances from Marco Cecotto who will use a hacked circuit board with optical sensors and light to create an audio visual experience for audiences and poet Moussa Sarr who will present his contemporary fable ‘Les musicians de Bremes’.
