Mini artist residency with Graciela Trujillo Viera at WEYA Events Space

Spanish artist Graciela Trujillo Viera will use the WEYA Events Space for a mini creative residency. She will construct two site-specific installations during the day and invites audiences to watch the work in process and ask questions about her work.
Graciela will use household tape to construct geomentric shapes throughout the space. Mapping place and architecture, the work Taking Measures looks at the relationships between body and space.
Structure Studies is a portable sculpture that can be adjusted into different locations. Made from modular trianglar pieces Graciela will adapt the work to the events space.
