The Mighty Creatives present Sharing my city
An exhibition of photography from a learning outreach project that worked with unemployed young people from the Broxtowe Estate in Nottingham.
Nottingham Contemporary worked with 15 young people from BEST (Broxtowe Education, Skills and Training) at the Broxtowe Estate to develop and deliver a digital photography project.
The project aimed to not only develop participants’ creativity but also develop transferable skills to increase their self esteem and employability. Working in collaboration with the artists, participants will produce their own digital photographic responses to the theme ‘Sharing My City’. The project leads were young artist Heather Kirk and Associate artists Jo Dacombe and Gillian Brent.
