Volunteer for the largest event of its kind

Becoming a World Event Volunteer will provide an extraordinary opportunity to become involved in the East Midlands Cultural Olympiad. WEYA volunteering is open to people of all ages, experiences and backgrounds.

Volunteer Teams

We are recruiting volunteers into three main areas of WEYA, as well as three specialist areas. Not all the volunteer posts require you to have any experience of the arts, more a willingness to get involved and enjoy meeting new people.

The main areas are:

  • PRODUCTION AND INVIGILATION SUPPORT
  • MARKETING, SOCIAL MEDIA AND INFORMATION POINTS
  • HOSPITALITY
