Meet and Greet Teams – Heathrow, Gatwick, East Midlands Airports
Artists will be arriving over a two day period, and we will have volunteers at the airports to welcome them and guide them onto the WEYA busses.
TYPICAL TASKS
- Welcoming artists at the airports
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE
- A second language useful but not essential
- Confident in communicating with people who don’t speak much English
- Confident at organisng groups of people
Catering Support at the Artists Marquee
WEYA artists and volunteers will be fed all together in one giant catering marquee. Through eating together, we hope that artists can foster better friendships and links, and we would encourage all the volunteers to be part of these gathering also. This team will support the contracted caterers with setting up and managing these occasions.
TYPICAL TASKS
- Supporting the catering company to manage feeding 400 people at one go!
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE
- Experience of working in bars, restaurants or cafes useful but not essential
- Physical work
